Goodbye Ugly Hospital Gown!

Looking for maternity/nursing pjs for the hospital? Check out Olian Maternity. The best selection I have seen seems to be at Nordstorm or Tummy Style, but they also sell them at Belly Dance and A Pea in the Pod. These options pictured above come as sets with a matching baby gown for your little one. Some sets are a bit on the expensive side, but they sure beat those ugly uncomfortable hospital gowns!
Matchbox Announcements

My friend Shannon sent me a link to these cute matchbox announcements. We both agree they are cute, but look pretty time consuming. The site, Little Window Shoppe, is very cute and has a lot of great ideas for home, family, cooking, etc. It looks like the blog portion is now closed, but you can find some great ideas/recipes in old posts.
Mama Bargains

My friend Alison sent me the link to this very cool site called Mama Bargains. I already added it to my blog list. It posts products for sale at increadible discounts and when their stock is out they switch to a new product. Yesterday they had adorable onsies from Baby Star along with a few other products. It seems like they go through product fast enough that they post 2-3 products a day. Right now they are selling these diaper clutches from Sam & Bellie for $12.25 when they are normally $25.00. Check out the site and add it to your favorites.
Nursery Progress
We've made a lot of progress on our nursery, but we're not quite finished. I thought I would post a few pictures of what we've done so far. Our challenges are that the room is SMALL, we were working with a limited buget and we wanted to find a good color combo that would work for a girl and a boy. We painted the walls a cream color and I found this Waverly fabric for the curtains. The fabric ottoman we made (my mom made along with the curtains and the pillows....thanks mom)using Amy Butler fabric and pattern (love her stuff!). We had some extra fabric so we made a pillow for the rocker that's being recovered. The other two pillows in the crib we made using inexpensive fabrics from Jo Ann Fabrics. The small area rug is from Target, but I couldn't find it online to link to it. the dresser/changing table we found at Chicago Liquidators a resale furniture store in chicago for super cheap and painted it with a high gloss white and replaced the fixtures with some we found at Home Depot.
I love how the room is coming along. Now we just need to add some accents on the walls.

Get Your Grill On

Here is a super fun kids grill set from Land of Nod. I can't wait until we have some kind of a backyard for fun outdoor toys like these.
